Synopsis: there are stories inhabiting the body of a woman. Stories of memories and absence of memories, encounters and non encounters, conquers and losses, (extra)ordinary life experiences. NOBODY WOULDN'T KNOW TO TELL THAT STORY is about those stories nobody can tell. They are to be felt. They are unraveled by gesture and movement, sound and voice, text and image.
This is a dance/performance project, who's story is written through the encounter of different women and through the reflection about the body and the memory that inhabits it. They share their genesis and their womanhood.
Since july 2010 many activities where implemented through residencies, performances and workshops. There were also made collaborations for the creative process with institutions such as: Parque Natural da Madeira; Associação Cultural e Juvenil Batoto Yetu, Grupo Coral Feminino de Amoreiras Gare and Associação dos Idosos de Palmela. We performed in September 2011 in Funchal - Madeira Island, in the gardens of Quinta das Cruzes Museum and in November of the same year in Centro Cultural de Belém, integrated in BoxNova Program. In 2012 we performed at Fiar Festival, in Palmela.
